Evaluation of grain yield performance and its stability in various spring barley accessions under condition of different agroclimatic zones of Ukraine

Two extremely urgent problems of biological and agronomic research nowadays are ensuring an optimal balance between usage natural resources to meet rapidly growing needs for food production preservation biodiversity. It is also important extend the genetic diversity main crop varieties in agroecosystems. At same time, modern should be characterized by a combination high yield preserving stability under variable conditions. Solving outlined tasks requires comprehensive involvement breeding process genetical concentrated genebanks world. Barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) one most crops that satisfy various humanity. In respect this, 2020–2022, multi-environment trial was conducted three agroclimatic zones Ukraine (Forest-Steppe, Polissia, Northern Steppe). We studied 44 spring barley collection accessions different ecological geographical origin, subspecies groups botanical which were obtained from National Center Plant Genetic Resources Ukraine. Statistical indices (Hom, Sc) graphical models (GGE biplot, AMMI) used interpret performance its stability.
